• Submit a signed Arrival Notice and a scanned boarding pass to the designated project contacts within 15 days of arrival at the host institution.
• Provide the original boarding pass to their home institution upon return.

• The benefits of your participation for yourself, your home country, and the broader African community

Eligibility depends on the target group:

• Target Group 1: Students or staff from MAINSTREAM consortium universities.
• Target Group 2: Students or staff from any African university outside the consortium. Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the host institution and submit a concept document detailing how the scholarship aligns with their study or work.

The scholarship provides:

• Tuition fee coverage
• Monthly subsistence allowance (€890 for Master’s, €1,230 for PhD, and €2,370 for staff)
• Travel and visa expenses
• Insurance (health, accident, and travel)
• Additional support for persons with disabilities

The MAINSTREAM Project offers scholarships for:

• PhD candidates (12 months for research or coursework)
